1.How far is the hotel from the airport?

Varna International Airport is 12 km away from the hotel and could be reached within 20 minutes’ drive.

2.Can the hotel arrange airport transfer?

The hotel provides an airport transfer service at the rate of 50.00 BGN. The price is valid for one way transfer per car for up to 3 passangers. If you would like to assist you, please send us your flight details and name at reception.dimyat@rosslyn-hotels.com

3.What is the local currency and do I need to exchange money in advance?

Bulgaria is a part of the EU, but the official currency is local – Bulgarian levs (abbreviation BGN). The exchange rate between the Euro and the Bulgarian lev is fixed to 1 EUR = 1.95583 BGN.

Please, note that EUR is not accepted in our hotel, however, there is a cash machine and you can pay using Mastercard, Visa and American Express.

4.What are the breakfast opening hours?

The breakfast time is 7:00-10:30 AM.

5.What time is the check in?

The check in time is after 14:00h.

6.What time is the check out?

Check-out time is 12:00h.

7.Do you have parking available and how much does it cost?

There is available underground parking. The cost is 20.00 BGN per night per vehicle. The parking place is subject upon availability. 

8.How far is the hotel from the city centre ?

The city centre of Varna is 10 minutes walking distance from the hotel.

9.How far is the nearest beach?

The nearest beach could be easily reached by 15 mins walk via the Sea Garden opposite the hotel. There are very good restaurants and lounge bars at the beach.

10.What are the opening hours of the Maya Vita centre?

The opening times are 10:00-20:00h every day.

11.What is the hotel’s pet policy?

Please, note that the hotel is pet-friendly. However, for the comfort of our guests, we accept pets until 5 kg at an extra charge and there are dedicated rooms at the first floor. Please, note that pets are not allowed in the restaurant and in the Maya Vita centre

12.How far is the nearest shopping mall?

Two of the city shopping malls are located within 15 minutes’ drive from the hotel. /5 km/

13. Does the hotel has a parking?

Please be informed that the parking in front of the hotel is "Blue Zone" - short-time paid parking, paid via text message and the maximum stay is 3 hours. The hotel has an underground parking with limited parking places. The price per night is 20 BGN. It is upon availability and reservations cannot be made.

14. COVID-19 - What measures have been taken against the spread of coronavirus disease and what are the modification and cancellation policies?

Advanced care for the wellbeing of our guests and employees is at the heart of Rosslyn Hotels core values. In response to COVID-19, the Rosslyn Hotels Group management is actively following the latest information and advice of the World Health Organisation and the local authorities and have developed and are continuing to improve new work procedures and mandatory trainings in effort to ensure safety for employees and guests. Daily trainings and enhanced sanitation guidelines are introduced to reassure the hotels cleanliness, working order and customer service, enabling us to meet guest needs in real time.

PART OF OUR NEW DAILY SANITATION AND PREVENTION PROCEDURES IN PRACTICE:

• Protective masks, gloves and relevant additional equipment are secured for hotel employees.
• Extra disinfection with hospital-grade cleaning products of all high-touch surfaces in guests’ room and common areas - light switches, door handles, elevator buttons, TV remotes, thermostats, phone handles and more.
• Removing pen, paper and guest directory from the guestrooms, supplements are available upon request.
• Increased frequency of cleaning with hospital-grade disinfectants on shared spaces and public areas – elevators, toilets, etc.
• Prominently placed hand sanitizer stations throughout hotel public and employee areas and entrances.
• Rooms are carefully assigned to minimize guest number on each floor.

• We observe occupation of each hotel room to be in a minimum of 24 hours before the next check-in.
• We accommodate guests in hotel rooms, that haven’t been occupied the last 24 hours from previous customers.

• We encourage guests to pay via contactless credit or debit card or via bank transfer in order to minimize banknotes and coins handling.
• Exploring purification and sanitization device installations to ensure enhanced air quality.
• Training our staff how to handle eventual health issues of our guests.
• The hotel has own laundry room, where a strict system for control and disinfection is established. All fabrics are high temperature ironed and disinfected.

SOCIAL DISTANCING PRACTICES AND REDUCING PERSON-TO-PERSON CONTACT

• The hotel has introduced prominently placed signage in its lobby area to remind guests to maintain physical distancing protocols.
• We have re-arranged furniture in the lobby area in order to allow more space for distancing.
• Social distancing guidance in public areas across hotel properties.
• Staff operates with minimum physical interaction.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE SAFETY AND HYGIENE

• Guests can order room service that is specially packaged and delivered right to the door without contact. Upon request, room service can be served on the outdoor terrace of the lobby bar.
• Implementation of enhanced food safety and hygiene protocols.
• Employees trainings process for hygiene and cleanliness.

• During these challenging times, we are offering extra flexibility for all new individual reservations with stay by 30.06.2020 by providing complimentary amendment or cancellation up to 24h prior to arrival.
•  For reservations booked via online travel agents or other third-parties, please contact the booking provider for information on their policies and amendments.
• For individual reservations booked into a pre-existing group block or a group/ event reservation, please refer to cancellation terms quoted at the time of reservation. For more information, please contact the group or event organizer.
•  For group bookings, please refer to your account manager as we manage any changes on a case by case basis. Our hotels are supporting customers to address the individual needs of each group offering alternative dates at earliest convenience.
